A former Republic officer and the player-created leader of Zero Company. Name, appearance, species, presentation, clothing, and specialization can be customized.

Field note

Hawks is required for story missions. If Hawks falls in combat, the mission fails and restarts rather than continuing as a normal permadeath outcome.

Authored identity is not the whole build

Named Operators carry a story background and distinctive features. Standard specialization choices, weapons, Focus spending, and Bonds still determine how that character contributes to a particular squad.
