Quick build

  • Specializations: Fixed Padawan/Wayseeker paths; no standard secondary specialization.
  • Weapon: Dual lightsabers are part of the unique Jedi kit.
  • Utility: Force Meditations replace normal Utility slots and unlock through Tel-Rea's progression.

Unique talent

Strong with the Force grants Harmony at the start of each turn, improving lightsaber deflection and attack damage. Upgrades increase the Harmony gained.

Upgrade priority

  • Take Padawan Training and Force Push first so Tel-Rea gains reliable defense, critical pressure, and displacement.
  • Upgrade Strong with the Force to make each turn start from a stronger Harmony baseline.
  • In the fixed Wayseeker path, unlock Force Pull before investing heavily in Lightsaber Throw.
  • A Meditation that supports two melee attacks is a strong damage option, but survival and positioning still come first on permadeath runs.

Turn plan

  • Use Force Pull or Force Push to expose a target, create a ledge kill, or group enemies for an area attack.
  • Commit to melee only after the target can be finished or Tel-Rea can end in a protected position.
  • Use Shockwave when its displacement changes the board, not merely because several targets are in range.
  • Use Noble Stance only after Tel-Rea has finished acting because it consumes her remaining AP and locks further actions.
  • Track the shared Advantage pool before every Force-heavy turn.

Squad pairings and Bonds

  • A Scout or support Astromech supplies the Advantage her unique actions consume.
  • Cly and explosive users capitalize on enemies that Tel-Rea groups or pushes out of cover.
  • A Heavy gives her a safer route out of melee and is especially valuable with permadeath enabled.

Alternative build and limits

On low-Advantage squads, play Tel-Rea as a selective controller rather than forcing a Force ability every turn. She is unique and cannot simply be replaced by recruiting another Jedi.

Operator profile

A Tognath Jedi Padawan and the only named Jedi companion announced for the campaign.

Treat survival planning seriously when permadeath is enabled. EA's community Q&A says another Jedi cannot simply be recruited as a replacement.
